Take our Introduction to Quilting Class 

In this class you will learn:

Quilting by Machine

• Fabric Tips and Cutting Tricks

• Rotary Cutting 

• Block Assembly 

• Borders and Binding

• Quilting by Machine

And perhaps more importantly… you will successfully finish your quilted table runner!

 

A Sewing Machine – Your New Best Friend

A sewing machine is a requirement for our Introduction to Quilting Class

You will need to be comfortable sewing with your machine and be able to bring it to class.  If you haven't sewed in awhile, practice some straight stitching and see how your machine is working.  If your stitches are uneven, tension is askew or your machines is noisy, it would be best to have it serviced prior to starting classes.  We do not service machines but we can direct you to qualified service technicians in the area.

You will need a Walking Foot for the final stage of assembling your quilt.

It is a good idea to bring your sewing machine manual to class for reference.
