Spend two afternoons with Tami for an introduction to the technique of hand applique. In this class, you will learn how to prepare templates, trace and cut shapes, position shapes and sew them to backgrounds all while learning tips and tricks to master sharp points on the tips of a Dresden Blade and the gentle curves on Orange Peels and circles.
Dresden Plates and Orange Peels will be the primary focus in this class and these shapes transfer beautifully to pillows or runners!
You will learn traditional hand applique methods that can be carried onto many other quilting projects!
