What could be cozier than a rag quilt? Perhaps a log cabin style rag quilt! Do you, or someone you know, like to snuggle on the sofa and watch the latest television series or read a good book? Maybe this is where you relax after a long winter walk or an afternoon on the ski hills? There's no shortage of opportunities to enjoy the warmth of a cuddly rag quilt. Maddie will walk you through all the steps in making a rag quilt. You'll be sure to benefit from her experience of making multiple styles of rag quilts in the past few years. Start off by choosing from our beautiful selection of flannels, then spend the day with Maddie putting them together! In making a rag quilt, you complete the top and back at the same time, there's no need to shop for backing later, or think about how it will be quilted! Just snip the seam allowances to make the fringes and you're ready to snuggle! If you'd prefer to make a "strip" or "block" pattern rag quilt, rather than a log cabin, that's okay too - the basics are the same and Maddie will guide you through. Skill Level: Confident Beginner
